Carboxytherapy
Carboxytherapy is a safe and natural form of Collagen Induction Therapy. Carboxytherapy involves subcutaneous injections of medical-grade Carbon Dioxide gas. Not only does it help firm crêpey skin that has lost collagen and elastin, but it also helps treat dark under-eye circles , scars, stretch marks and cellulite. Carboxytherapy has many other uses including the treatment of hair loss, genital rejuvenation, non-healing ulcers, leg veins, localized fat deposits and lymphatic obstruction.

Carboxytherapy has been used in medicine for over 100 years. The technique originally developed to improve circulation in people who had narrowing of their arteries. Eventually, the use of Carbon Dioxide was studied extensively in Europe to help reverse the aging process by improving circulation. What they found was that this technique could be used very successfully to treat the following issues which stem mostly from diminished circulation:
- Stubborn fat deposits
- Cellulite
- Stretch marks
- Scars
- Loose skin and wrinkles
- Under-eye dark circles
- Hair loss
- Unevenness from surgical treatments like liposuction
Long-term improvements
Carboxytherapy doesn’t hurt; it just feels a bit creepy and weird. Because of differences in the techniques used to treat the eyelids, stretch-marks, scars, and fat deposits, the sensation is slightly different depending upon what is actually being treated. Numbing cream can be used to diminish any discomfort associated with the pin-prick of the needle itself. When treating the lower eyelids they will feel temporarily puffy, but it subsides once the gas is absorbed over the next five to ten minutes.
Not only does it improve circulation, it works synergistically with the body to shrink fat cells, stimulate collagen, and break down scar tissue all by using the body’s natural functions. Carboxytherapy improves your aging physiology resulting in long-term improvements. The body actually becomes healthier and more vital over time. The results are always 100% natural because your body is actually doing all the work. Dr Norval has been using Carboxytherapy for 10 years with tremendous success. It is a great place to start with any problem, because once your physiology is improved, other treatments become more effective. It is one of our most popular treatments. .
