Lipolytic Injections
Ceccarelli Solution
Cecarrelli Solution is a safe, effective mesotherapy solution that removes fat cells in a localised area e.g.bra bulge, double chin or jowl area. Ceccarelli Solution was formulated by Professor Mauritzio Ceccarelli, a regenerative and physiological scientist from Italy. Cecarelli solution contains vitamin C and a tiny amount of iron. The vitamin C (ascorbic acid) when mixed with iron and injected into the fat tissue initiates a reaction called Fenton’s reaction leading to generation of hydroxyl type radicals. These radicals trigger natural death of fat cells by a physiological process called “apoptosis”.

Lipolysis (breaking down fat) with Ceccarelli Solution is a non-surgical method which helps with the reduction of diet-resistant fat deposits in an otherwise slim body.
Ceccarelli injections are NOT INDICATED for people with obesity. These patients should first undergo a weight loss program such as Slenderwonder before Ceccarelli Solution is used. Fat lipolysis is NOT a substitute for exercising and dieting.
The solution can be injected into the body and face including the following areas:
Face: Nasolabial bulges, jowls, double chin and jawline
Body: resistant fat on bra bulges, upper arms, abdomen, inner thighs, love handles, knees, ankles as well as cellulite bulges.
The number of treatments required depends on the amount of resistant fat that one wants to dissolve. On average 2 to 3 treatments are needed. They can be repeated every 3-4 weeks. Slow and gradual improvement can be seen after 3 weeks, the maximum results are seen after 8 weeks.
Results are not the same in each patient and vary per individual. Some people simply do not respond satisfactoraly to Ceccarelli lipolysis solution.
Ceccarelli Lipolysis can be combined with other slimming procedures for example cryolipolysis (fat freezing, ultrasound, radiofrequency, Velashape etc.
Deoxycholate
Deoxycholate is an alternative but stronger lipolytic solution used to destroy fat cells. It is injected into problem areas using a flexible intraliponeedle or a blunt cannula. Deoxycholate causes emulsification with rupture of fat cells. This results in inflammation and more significant downtime than Ceccarelli Solution, with heat and swelling for up to 5 days.
