A light-emitting diode (LED) light is used for a wide range of conditions including skin rejuvenation, acne,  inflammation, herpes zoster and precancerous lesions. Photodynamic therapy is also useful before and after procedures or surgery to reduce inflammation and speed up healing.

Omega light uses gentle, UV-free light to reduce inflammation and improve healing and the skin’s regenerative processes. Hydration levels are boosted, which gives the skin a youthful glow. It is often combined with our professional facial treatments to minimise visible fine lines and wrinkles.

Often used post procedures or post surgery, a course of Omega light treatments gives the best results, and the effects can continue after the course for several weeks-months. A single treatment immediately after your injectable treatment helps improve recovery and maximises the results of your treatment.    

Is Omega Light painful?

No. It is completely painless. Lying under a bright red or blue light with protective goggles on is very comfortable, and it is often very relaxing.  

How safe is Omega Light?

Treatment is safe and effective for all skin types and colours.  

How long does the procedure take?

The whole procedure takes 20 minutes. Your skin will be cleansed before the light treatment and afterwards moisturisers and sunblock are applied.

For maximum skin benefits and long-lasting results, a course of 7-10 treatments over 3-5 weeks is recommended. A single booster treatment every 4-6 weeks can help maintain results

Omega Blue Light for Acne

The Omega blue light has proved revolutionary in the fight against acne. The bacteria that cause acne produce chemicals that are sensitive to light. Blue light works to stop the spread of these bacteria by delivering a constant blue light that penetrates deep into the layers of the skin. This naturally stimulates the body to produce chemicals that destroy the bacteria. Combining with the red light the results are further enhanced. Red light reduces inflammation, thereby assisting in the healing process during the course of blue light therapy.
