TriPollar Radiofrequency

TriPollar Radiofrequency utilizes 3rd generation Radiofrequency technology. It is often used together with Carboxytherapy to firm up loose crěpey skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. TriPollar Radiofrequency is clinically proven to simultaneously heat in both the superficial (dermal) and deep (hypodermal) layers. The thermal effect triggers fibroblasts to increase the production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

TriPollar’s 3rd generation RF technology simultaneously combines the effects of mono and bi-polar radio frequency in a single treatment. The key advantage is that it utilises three or more poles/electrodes which allows for greater focusing of the RF energy and a broader RF wave density which means that it can achieve variable depths of penetration into the target tissue being treated, (both superficial and deep) giving a more uniform result. Collagen in the tissue is heated and stimulated to create an immediate visible contraction and lifting effect, followed by remodelling with new and accelerated collagen production in the deeper layers over time.

RF is a pleasant virtually painless treatment , with only a mild heating sensation , almost like a hot massage. Results are sometimes visible right from the first treatment and can last for 6 months to a few years if maintained. It also depends on the age of the patients and their life style. 6-8 sessions are advised performed at 1-2 weekly intervals. Ongoing maintenance every 4 – 8 weeks could be required.
